The Asia HR Summit 2015 and syncHRony Global: The newest cloud-based HCM solutions provider with a PH Based Delivery Center

Under the auspices of Mrs. Rebecca Bustamante and her company High-Q Personnel, the Asia HR Summit took place last August 19, 2015 at the second floor ballroom of the Diamond Hotel Makati. It is considered as one of the biggest annual gatherings of HR practitioners in the Metro. The theme of the summit is "Turning HR managers into country managers." To achieve this aim, the organizers invited a number of established professionals as speakers. Also, delegates from different companies, both well-established and budding ones were present. I and other bloggers were invited by Mr. Lance Bucoy to cover the event.

The Summit gave me a wide perspective on the boom of the HR Industry in the Philippines as well as the most prominent challenges at this point.  There were a good number of great speakers with exciting topics on hand. Some of these included Sarj Estrella, who talked about the "gamification"  of the workplace. She revealed that video games and reward systems can be used as incentive systems for employees. Also, Gary Tok introduced a system that he created that can specify and detect the statistics of employee insurance plans and prescribe appropriate solutions for leaks regarding the system. Odess Lacia, on the other hand, prescribed a code for HR practitioners to follow in their duties and responsibilities.

The summit ended with a press conference organized by syncHRony Global. Darcy Mark Lalondem one of the speakers, owns the company. He is an esteemed Human Capital Management Practitioner who created the brand to offer a myriad of HCM solutions ranging from Business Consulting, System Integration, and Operate and Improve. Through the use of cloud technology, syncHRony delivers best practice processes and high quality operational services. A business can be ensured of the unwavering and consistent performance of syncHRony due to the 50 year collective experience in cloud HCM, particularly more impressive than the 10 years of usual experience offered by other HCM firms.

The three solutions offered by the company are done through an extensive portfolio of tasks and services. The first is the subscription to SAP's Value Added Reseller to deliver cloud based software to implement analytics, content, process expertise from a wide customer base. The second is implementation of best practice knowledge which includes global payroll enablement, business transformation, and project governance. The third is Managed services which uses BPO services to execute administrative tasks for mostly HR functions. Lastly, even the recruitment process outsourcing can also be accomplished by the company. It can provide services for sourcing, assessment, interviewing, profiling background checking, and other tasks related to recruitment. SyncHRony's wide variety of services can give clients cost-effective leveraging in running their fledgling or established businesses.

As of this year, syncHRony's main hub is based in Manila. Through the use of SAP SuccessFactors, it has forged alliances and partners in countries such as China, Singapore, and Australia.

According to Mr. Lalonde, the Philippines has great potential into becoming a global hub in the HR field. He admires Filipinos for their skills and work ethics, particularly their professionalism and strong qualifications. He has seen them deliver quality service in implementing the company's goals in the HCM industry. He believes that the growth of the BPO industry can be sustained by the HR professionals who develop talents which fit the job descriptions required by employers.
