Bull Chef is a Kapitolyo restaurant that focuses on the different uses of Beef, particularly Bulalo style! Its humble place in Kapitolyo has been around for more than 2 years, particularly catering to people who want their bulalo fix or those who want a respite from drinking. During our visit, we were able to try a number of their specialties, including their bestsellers.
We had their Bulalo soup. This was a free appetizer given to diners who spend their time to try out the food. The soup was a fitting starter to the meal due to the savory beef taste.
Bull Sisig P175 Solo P219. This was their own version of the beloved sisig dish. This was purely composed of beef chunks and other cow parts. This was served hot with egg. The fatty goodness was truly excellent with rice.
Ultimate BullChef P629 (Good for 3 pax) Solo P575
The Ultimate Bullchef was their top of the line dish. It was the famed Bulalo dish complete with a helping of corn, beans, thin beef slices, beef tendon, and beef marrow all boiled to perfection. I must say that every bite of the tasty meat was oh so excellent.
BullUsok P205 (Good for 1) Solo P179. This was their special beef steak marinated in its own fat and served with marrow. The fat tasted like gravy. I enjoyed this dish the most because of its similarity to medium well steak.
Asim Bull P389 (Good for 2 pax) Solo P355. This was their version of sinigang except that the meat used was beef chunks; while the soup was made out of tamarind puree. It had a good helping of kangkong and bone marrow for extra taste.
Beef Tendon being chopped from the bone. It was a bit tough; but I ate it anyway for its health benefits.
The store sign.
